About Girls Night Out

Girls Night Out is an overnight lock-in and empowerment event for middle and high school girls.  Our purpose is to facilitate the awareness and development of young women in the areas of:

-Spiritual Development

-Chastity

-Health and Wellness

-Community Service

-Leadership

-Global Awareness

The Girls Night Out Event will be held three times in 2011, with the first event being held at the Hayes-Taylor Memorial YMCA on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 8:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011.

What Happens At Girls Night Out?

 Girls Night Out is designed as a fun, informative and inspirational overnight “lock-in” for middle and high school girls.  Participants will engage in activities such as:

-Swimming

-Community Expo

-Double Dutch

-Art demonstrations

-Exercise and dance

-Singing and talent

-Yoga

-Fashion Show

Participants will also enjoy a number of presentations by various special guests and community leaders on such topics as:

-Health and Wellness

-Spiritual Development

-Chastity

-Global Awareness

-Community Service

-Stress Management

Girls will also be treated to entertainment including step shows performed by local sororities, a DJ, poets, singers and dancers.  A full evening is planned of positive, life-affirming activities for this special age group.

Registration is $10 per participant and due at the time of the event.
